IFPA sponsors conferences, workshops, and seminars in the United States and abroad. Over many years we have helped policymakers, legislators, military officers, and members of the media, academia, and industry from diverse national and international settings to exchange ideas outside official channels and away from the often constraining diplomatic format. IFPA meetings also provide an ideal setting for leaders to make major policy announcements.
Our meetings attract heads of state and government, foreign ministers, defense ministers, and key members of the U.S. Congress and overseas legislatures, along with senior representatives from the corporate community. In order to ensure high-level participation from other countries, IFPA regularly collaborates with overseas counterparts.
Our conferences have had official sponsorship of the U.S. government and key intergovernmental groups such as the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, the European Union, and the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research.
IFPA undertakes government contract work and has a long and established track record with the official national security community. We develop strategic insights and practical policy solutions to assist leaders, managers, and their staffs as they address twenty-first-century security challenges. IFPA senior staff possess many years of experience in policy analysis and implementation, and our substantial expertise is complemented by an extensive network of consultants in the United States and overseas. We are uniquely positioned to assist government leaders and the military services as they assess and respond to pressing security issues and to help them anticipate future challenges and opportunities.
IFPA has a Federal Supply Schedule contract in place with the General Services Administration (GSA). The GSA schedule greatly simplifies government contracting and facilitates IFPA's ability to perform contract work for U.S. departments, agencies, and military services.
Under the GSA Schedule, IFPA is authorized to provide an array of management, organizational, and business improvement services (MOBIS).
