The Institute for Foreign Policy Analysis

This project examined the prospects for democracy in the area spanning North Africa, the Middle East, the Caucasus, and Central Asia.The project contributed to IFPA's ongoing research focused on post-conflict reconstruction and stability operations in Iraq and Afghanistan and, at the same time, to efforts to inform and help shape U.S. government democratization efforts and public diplomacy strategies.
