Ms. Bobby Andersen
Bobby is a senior research associate at the Institute for Foreign Policy Analysis in Cambridge.
Ms. Andersen joined IFPA in 2007. Her areas of specialization include Nordic affairs, NATO and European security issues, U.S. defense strategy, and regional security developments in the Asia-Pacific. She focuses as well on the changing security dynamics in the Arctic region.
Before joining IFPA, Bobby worked on issues in U.S. foreign policy and U.S. law at Harvard University. She also served as a research assistant in the Department of International Relations at Boston University. Prior to earning her graduate degree, Bobby worked as a research analyst at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in New York, focusing on countries in crisis. She speaks Bulgarian, Russian, and Norwegian, and has basic proficiency in Danish and German.
Ms. Andersen holds an MA in international relations from Boston University and a BA in poliical science from Whittier College. She also completed coursework at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark.
