Ms. Marina Travayiakis

Marina joined IFPA in 2006 as a research associate. Her research interests include reconstruction and stabilization operations, civil-military affairs, and crisis management.

Before joining IFPA, Marina worked as a teaching assistant in the Department of Political Science at Tufts University. She also served as a research assistant at the Fletcher School at Tufts on a number of projects covering issues of transitional justice, democracy promotion, conflict management, and disarmament, demobilization and reintegration programs. Prior to earning her graduate degree in international affairs, Marina worked as a healthcare investment banking analyst in New York.

Marina holds an M.A. in law and diplomacy from The Fletcher School, Tufts University, and a B.A. in economics and French from Boston College. She also studied for one year at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques (IEP) in Strasbourg, France.
